Two draft documents likely to be discussed during the 12th eMS-meeting on 1 July 2014.
On request of the 11th eMS meeting on 15 May 2014, the NSW Guidelines and data mapping report have been revised by a small editing team of 7 people from 6 different EU Member States. On 6 June these redrafted documents have been discussed between the EC and representatives from 8 countries. The outcome of the discussion are two revised draft documents . They will most likely be discussed by the eMS expert group - 12th meeting on 1 July.
The two draft documents are (available in the library / eMS or click on the red text):
- The draft NSW Guidelines. The draft NSW Guidelines (v1.2) are provided for general guidance for the implementation of the Directive 2010/65/EU as agreed between the Member States through the eMS expert group and should be taken into consideration when developing eventual national recommendations on system design. The document has been revised according the discussions and agreements reached during the first review meeting on June 6th. This is now version 1.2 (provided here with track changes).
- The draft NSW Guidelines. This draft document (version 1.4) details the (technical) definitions of data elements and business rules, data mapping, mapping with messaging systems and additional data elements (for information) as agreed by the eMS expert group in representing the harmonised data set to be provided to the National Single Window (NSW) and to be achieved as a minimum by Member States in the implementation of the NSW. Version 1.4 represents the agreed data set to be implemented by 1st June 2015. This document has not changed on 6 June since the last revision as there were no requests received for amendment/revision and remains version 1.4.
